There are a multitude of situations that the more traditional 5-6oz beachcaster is not ideally suited to. With this in mind we set about designing a couple of lighter style shore rods for these applications. Whether you are after a scratching rod for winkling out all manner of species, chasing fat winter flounder, or standing in a tumbling surf, waiting for a bass to come along, we reckon these two rods are perfect for you. We worked hard designing and testing these rods in real-life situations and in our opinion we have made supremely usable shore rods, that can put a bait where you want it. They can protect all manner of baits, show any kind of bite and, most importantly, bend into a fighting fish correctly. This is due to the responsive tip and progressive mid section, another Greys rods technological advantage.
